About QUESOS GORFOLÍ
We are a family business with more than 50 years of history. Gorfolí is made up of a factory that produces natural cheeses, without additives and in an artisanal way, and a group of shops that bear the same name as the factory. We manufacture Fresh Natural cheese, Cottage cheese and Tierno Cheese (winner of the award for best cheese in Asturias 2021). The pillars that have been with us since the company was founded are the use of fresh Asturian raw material, product traceability and maintaining the identity of a fresh and natural product.
What do QUESOS GORFOLÍ do?
Gorfolí cheeses, manufactures and distributes its own products. The cheeses that are manufactured in our factory are Natural Fresh Cheese, Cottage Cheese and Soft Cheese.
- Fresh Cheese: it is characterized by its juiciness and smooth flavor. Made with pasteurized cow's milk they make it perfect for daily consumption. The main characteristic of this product is its freshness, since it is put on sale 24/48 hours after being manufactured, available in the salted or salt-free form. Its nutritional, healthy and flavor properties have allowed our cheese to be used in nursing homes, schools or daily domestic use.
- Cottage cheese: made with pasteurized cow's milk. It provides fresh and clear aromas, a creamy texture and its mild flavor allows it to combine perfectly with honey, sweeteners, sugar, nuts or even alone. Like fresh cheese, our cottage cheese is manufactured and distributed within 24/48 hours. One of the most versatile and "easy" dairy products to integrate into your daily consumption routine.
- Soft cheese: winner of the award for the best cheese in Asturias 2021, made with pasteurized cow's milk. It is that cheese also known as ''cream cheese'', not because cream is added, but because of its texture, creamy and light, which makes it the type of cheese that can be eaten at any time: mild flavor and a lot of creaminess , wrapped in a thin and delicate crust that makes the mixture of textures a very balanced bite
