“Progetto Natura” is a cooperative that associates over 250 companies operating in the dairy sector scattered throughout Sicily.
What do PROGETTO NATURA SOCIETA' COOPERATIVA AGRICOLA do?
Cooperative specializing in the production and marketing of dairy products such as Ragusano, Cosacavaddu, Ricotta, and Provola. We are the largest integrated Sicilian milk supply chain. We organize the collection of conventional, controlled supply chain, and organic milk from our member farms in Sicily, using both our own vehicles and third-party companies. The milk is transferred to our collection center in Ragusa, where it is checked by quality laboratory personnel and distributed to various destinations. Through an integrated system, we directly manage all stages of the process, from raw material production to distribution to processors, until the finished product reaches retail outlets. This complete control is entrusted to our subsidiary "Natura e Qualità," which operates under the distinctive brands "Ragusa Latte," "Isola del Sole," and "Fratelli Rosso." Our cheeses include: Aged Ragusano DOP, Semi-aged Ragusano DOP, Whole fresh Cosacavaddu Ibleo, Aged Cosacavaddu Ibleo, Semi-aged Cosacavaddu Ibleo, Grated Cosacavaddu Ibleo, Bulk milk, Provola Ragusana.
