Located in Verona, GELATERIA VENETA is a company specialising in the production of ice-cream parlour equipment and the creation of homemade ice creams, following ancient local traditions. Their ice cream carts, available in both neutral and branded versions, are very popular and perfect for fairs, festivals and outdoor events.
About us
We are three entrepreneurs from the Veneto region, Andrea (class of '56), Eros (class of '70) and Gianluigi (class of '73), united by our vision of the gelato business as a narrative of the territory. We decided to merge our personal experiences and skills to create Gelateria Veneta, with the aim of producing artisanal ice cream with an authentic flavour suited to modern tastes. With cultural roots deeply rooted in the Veronese territory, we wish to be the spokesman of the best Veneto ice-cream tradition in the world.
Our history
Our story begins in 1947, when grandfather Eugenio and grandmother Luigia created artisan ice cream with fresh milk from their cows, pasteurised in the oven. To cool the ice cream more quickly and prolong its shelf life, they used coarse salt to make a 'cold' shake. The ice cream was then loaded onto carts and sold from village to village, from Valpolicella to Verona, winning lasting appreciation. Today, over 60 years later, we maintain the same artisanal approach and dedication to authenticity, while integrating the best modern technology. Continuing the family tradition, we offer ice cream that tells our story and celebrates our territory.
