The history of the Toro Distillery is inextricably linked to that of its Centerba Forte liqueur. In 1817 Beniamino Toro began his business as a liqueur producer in his pharmacy in Tocco da Casauria, a town in the Abruzzo part of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.
Today the liqueur factory, equipped with all the most modern technologies, produces in addition to Centerba Forte many high quality liqueurs of the Abruzzo and national tradition, continuing to combine tradition and innovation by grafting traditional methods of maceration of herbs and roots with "technology 4.0" of bottling and packaging machinery.
