Its production facility is situated in one of the main cattle-rearing regions of the country, where 60% of Spain's cattle are concentrated. This privileged location, combined with state-of-the-art facilities integrating advanced technologies, enables El Encinar de Humienta to ensure a supply of top-quality products with high productivity and efficiency, always at the service of its customers.

History

El Encinar de Humienta S.A. was founded in 1998, driven by the vision and experience of the Collar and Yartu families, who, with their deep knowledge of the meat sector, provided the know-how necessary to position it as a leading company in the beef industry in Spain.

Thanks to its growth and market consolidation, El Encinar de Humienta has established a Joint Venture with OSI Foods, creating the company ENOSI Foods Ibérica S.L. Through this strategic alliance, all mature cattle slaughtered in its facilities are marketed, further strengthening its position in the sector with a focus on quality and efficiency

El Encinar de Humienta offers an extensive variety of beef products, tailored to market demands.

It markets channels and bone-in cuts of young beef, veal, and cow, as well as vacuum-sealed options across all types of beef, including milk-fed veal.

Its range also includes hamburgers, fresh preparations, filleted cuts, and a curated selection of aged meats, along with an assortment of offal that meets the highest quality standards.

ORGANIC BEEF

El Encinar de Humienta has incorporated an organic line into its production system, encompassing channels, filleted products, and organic beef preparations. Every step of this process, from animal feed to slaughter control, deboning, and production, adheres to strict sustainability and environmental standards.

The entire process is certified by organic agriculture authorities, such as CAEX (Comité de Agricultura Ecológica de Extremadura) for the facilities in Almaraz (Cáceres), where slaughtering and deboning are carried out, and CAEM (Comité de Agricultura Ecológica de Madrid) for the Madrid facility, dedicated to deboning, filleting, and preparing organic products.

The organic farming developed by El Encinar de Humienta is deeply connected to the land and respects the link between agriculture and livestock farming. A core principle in its organic production is the complete elimination of synthetic chemicals at every stage of the production system, including feed, health care, and pasture fertilization.
