About CAL TOMAS

Miquel, our great-grandfather, saw that meat was sold in France and opened the first butcher shop in town.

Today we are the ones who take over and, just as our grandparents and parents have done, we continue to make sausages following traditional recipes and raising calves and cows in an ecological way.

What do CAL TOMAS do?

We are a family business, we ourselves cultivate the fodder, take care of the cows and prepare the sausages and pre-cooked products, maintaining control of the product at all times.

In summer, our cows graze in the mountains that separate Pallars Sobirà and Alt Urgell, at an altitude of 1,600m. We have the winter pastures and the workshop in La Pobla de Segur.
